You can lock colorways to prevent changing their prices. To lock a colorway, click the checkbox next to the colorway(s) then click the Lock button from the toolbar, the following message appears:
Click Lock to confirm locking the selected colorways. You can also lock the colorway by selecting Lock from the Actions menu next to its record.
