Comments enable you to have a discussion with certain users on specific aspects related to the board and mention users with whom you shared the board. To add a comment to the board, follow these steps:
- Select the comment icon then click on the board to place it. The following window appears:
- Enter the comment text. If you want to tag a user with whom the board is shared, use the @ symbol then start typing the user's name and select it,
- Click the Save button, the comment is displayed as shown in the below example:
Other comments can be added to the same thread by other users as well as yourself. To close comments, click the slider next to Resolve.
You can also edit the comment body, by clicking the Pen icon, the field is displayed as shown below:
Do the required changes, then click the Save button, or X to cancel.
To delete the comment, press the Delete button from the keyboard or click the respective button in the above window.
Email notifications are sent to users tagged in comments. You can view the Comments by clicking the respective icon. Comments are displayed as shown in the below example:
You can click the comment to view it on the board. You can filter comments to view them all, or mentions only, or resolved comments.
Notes:
- If the comment is added to a colorway, it appears on the right-top corner and when the colorway image is moved, the comment icon moves with it according. Below is an example:
- You can choose to hide comments for all boards in the catalog through the respective slider bar in the Settings as shown below:
Click the slider button to hide the comments. Comments are hidden for all boards in this catalog.
